I’ve prepared a slightly damp sponge and added some white paint. We’ll gently pat this white down the center of his face to form our puppy dog, using various shapes.
We’re going to shape it differently. Although we have a square sponge, you can easily manipulate it with your fingers to achieve a rounder shape. This part of the face painting is quite enjoyable! Now, let’s load black onto one corner of the same sponge because we’re going to transform him into a Dalmatian puppy dog.
By skillfully adjusting the sponge with your fingers, you can create all sorts of delightful shapes.
Whenever you're painting around the eyes, it's always important to communicate with your model. Let them know what you're doing so they don’t accidentally open their eyes in the middle of your work.
Now, let's add a little dot up here...
Next, we'll use a round brush to paint on our cute little puppy dog's nose and add a small line underneath for detail.
Using just the tip of the brush, we can make tiny dots for those charming whiskers on our puppy dog.
Don’t forget about his lips! And like all playful puppies, he has his tongue hanging out—especially since it's such a hot day! Let's color that tongue red with just a touch of white in the center for some extra flair.
